Program

Day 01: Arrival at Djanet airport; welcome by the team of Tuareg driver and guide. Transfer to the camping site to spend the night.
Day 02: Short visit of the town of Djanet then departure by 4-wheel-drive; visit of the rock paintings of Timghas and Tilalen; lunch at the Tikoubaouene arch; arrival in the afternoon at Essendilene; visit of the oasis and the gueltas. Camp on the spot.
Day 03: Lunch en route. Camp in the Tin-Abagho dunes (a very beautiful place to admire the sunset).
Day 04: Towards Erg Tihoudaiene; lunch en route. Camp in the Erg Tihoudaiene.
Day 05: Lunch in the village of Afara; visit of the Tassât paintings. Camp at Tassât.
Day 06: Towards Illizi; lunch en route; arrival in Illizi in the afternoon; resupplying then transfer to the rendezvous point with the team of camel drivers. Camp at Intessemt.
Day 07: First trekking day with camels. Camp at Abzej after visiting rock engravings and paintings.
Day 08: Lunch en route. Camp at Tinlanene after visiting rock engravings and paintings.
Day 09: Lunch en route. Camp at Tinessad after visiting rock engravings and paintings.
Day 10: Towards Anafag; picnic. Camp at Tintouloulte after visiting rock engravings and paintings.
Day 11: Visit of rock paintings and engravings. Camp at Assaghor.
Day 12: Lunch en route; camp at the rendezvous point with the 4-wheel-drive at Tintessemt.
Day 13: Departure by 4-wheel drive; arrival at the Ihrir Oasis in the afternoon; visit of the palm grove and the gueltas. Camp on the spot.
Day 14: Towards Djanet; visit of the Dider rock engravings; lunch in the Erg Admer dunes; arrival in the afternoon; shower at the Agency’s residence. Night on the spot.
Day 15: Transfer to the airport for the return flight.
