Program

Day 01: Arrival at the Tamanrasset airport; welcome by the team of Tuareg driver and guide; transfer to the camping site next to the Petrified Wood Mountain.
Day 02: Departure towards the Assekrem; visit of the guelta of Amalaoulaouan; lunch at the spring of the Afilal; arrival in the early afternoon at the Assekrem; visit of the hermitage with a Père Blanc; night at the Inn or camping.
Day 03: Descent by a difficult 4-wheel-drive track; lunch at the guelta of Essakarassan; crossing of the village of Hérafac; visit of the rock engravings then camp next to the village of Idlas.
Day 04: Crossing of the village of Idlas; visit of the old town and palm grove; lunch en route then camp in the ancient Salt Caravan Mines in Amadghor.
Day 05: Crossing of varied landscapes; lunch next to the well of Ahaladjam; camp at Tinabaghou.
Day 06: Crossing of the plains of Tafassassat; lunch at Ighaman then camp in the Erg Admer dunes.
Day 07: Crossing of the Erg Admer; lunch near the “Weeping Cow” engravings; in the afternoon: visit of the town of Djanet then transfer to the foot of the Tassili plateau to spend the night.
Day 08: Trekking day. Very early departure, with picnic; ascent of the plateau (700m / 2300 feet altitude difference); visit of the rock paintings of the Tassili; descent in the afternoon; rendezvous with the 4-wheel drive; transfer to the Agency’s residence, shower, dinner than transfer to the airport for departure.
