Program
The Tadrart is considered by specialists of
the Sahara as one of the most beautiful places to discover.
Day 01: Arrival at the airport, transfer to Djanet; visit
of the palm grove; camp at Tinamali. Day 02: Departure for Tadrart by 4-wheel-drive; lunch at noon at the Tin-Zeran
grotto. Visit of the rock paintings and the grotto where research is being
done by the UNESCO and departure in the afternoon for the Baridj Wadi. Day 03: Visit of the rock engravings and paintings at the Baridj Wadi
site. In the afternoon, difficult passage for the 4-wheel-drive in the sand
dunes to get to the camp-site at Moulanaga in the evening. Day 04: From Moulanaga, departure for Tin-Merzouga, visit of the Cathedral
arches, the paintings and engravings. Lunch at In-Tehak, then arrival in
the afternoon before the sunset at Tin-Merzouga. Day 05: Departure from Tin-Merzouga for In-Jaran; visit of the rock paintings
of Abou-Hadiene; lunch on the dunes of In-Zaouatene then departure to get
to the camp site at Injaran. Day 06: Towards Mankhour and Alidema;
lunch at Mankhour then visit of the rock paintings and research station of the
Tassili N’Ajjer National
Park. Continuation of the way to Aliderna for camp. Day 07:
Back to Djanet through the Ténéré plain on
the “Balise du Berliet” route. Lunch at the foot of mount Tiskat – Road
marker 22. Arrival in the evening at Tegharghart. Visit of the “Weeping
Cow” engraving. Continuation of the way towards the camping site in
the dunes of Erg Admer. Day 08: Transfer to the airport for departure.
